What We Spray
Our main barrier spray chemicals are synthetic forms of pyrethrins called pyrethroids that are derived from chrysanthemum flowers. Pyrethroids are used in many commercial products, such as household insecticides, pet shampoos and sprays, and even lice shampoos. We spray this chemical on shrubs, low lying trees, and mulch beds, where it bonds to the foliage of the plants and controls any mosquitoes that come in contact the leaves. The product breaks down after 30 days, so monthly treatments will take the bite out of your entire summer. Most importantly, our product is safe for kids and pets, and it won’t harm your plants.
